| I've installed over 12 new EFI harnesses and never had to de-pin, cut or anything. What i've done is just use a pry bar or similar and very lightly bend the EFI harness/firewall hole into a tapered oval. (basically prying against the bottom of hole to bring the bottom part out) I mean barely too.. just enough to slide the harness connector through. Then after you get it through.. use a rubber mallet to tap the hole back flat. You can't even tell it was ever done. This way is much faster and easier. I really should make a write up.. the next time I install one I will snap some pics.
